This show was captivating. Why do all the really good shows get cancelled? Its true that at first glance the premise seemed weak, and there didn't seem to be much of a forseeable future. However, each character was likable, funny, and interesting. Each developed relationship was captivating and addictive. The Class was one of those shows that left you waiting for the next episode, and isn't that the way it should be? CBS really dropped the ball if they keep this show cancelled. In a culture saturated with reality game shows and cop dramas, Mondays on CBS was a refreshing change, but with the absence of The Class, it seems to be lacking. Bring the show back.

I think the problem with this show is that not enough people know about it. If CBS would just advertise it a little more, I'm sure the ratings would go up. I really hope this show comes back... I mean, I'm sure "The Office" didn't do so great on it's first season either, but look at it now!

This is crazy! Many people like me enjoy a light-hearted sitcom to laugh at the end of a busy day. This was a really funny show and I really enjoyed it. It showed some really interesting scenarios that have happened to many single people. I think it got the ax prematurely. I joined it towards the middle of the run and was looking forward to the re-runs so I could catch the episodes I missed. Who is CBS targeting anyway? I'm so disappointed!

I live in Mexico, and I found this comments surfing the web. And they made me so sad! I can't believe this show got cancelled! I'm still watching it on cable, and I just love it.
The first episodes didn't grab my attention, but within time, I found myself waiting for the next episode, because I started to care about their lives and getting many good laughs in return.
I was kind of hoping this show would become the next Friends. Please, don't let it die!!

I cannot believe "the Class" has not been renewed! The caractors blend and the writting is terrific. It was so nice to finally find a show that brought back the good feelings I got from the long running shows that have recently ended. Monday night was going to be MY TV night. If you don't care, then I don't care and will easily drop Two and a half men, Christine and How I met your mother. If it's not broken, why fix it?

"Friends", I hope that this decision is reconsidered!

I was looking at the fall line-up and just found out they cancelled "the class." This is such a disappointment! I usually don't watch CBS shows, but Monday night, I was there to watch How I met your mother and The Class. They make you laugh! Please rethink about bringing the show back...it picked up great speed with audiences!

I really don't know what some of the networks are thinking. My friends and all fall in the demographics that advertisers want (28-40) and they take The Class off the air. Everyone of us loved the show and couldn't wait for it air every week. They keep shows on the air that nobody I know watch and then take The Class off. CBS... you just aren't getting it.I wish another network would buy and see what it could do. If at least...give us the 1st and only season on DVD!!!! PS....Richard was hillarious!!!!

I was hoping agaiunst hope that this show would be on the air in mid season since I didn't see it on the fall line up. Figures it got cancelled. It was funny so naturally it got axed. CBS used to have quality programming. The dweebs doing their scheduling must be brain dead when it comes to good comedy. The Class, New Adventures of Old Christine, and 2-1/2 Men are the only shows on TV that actually make me laugh out loud...on a Monday, the start of a work week, they were perfectly scheduled. Now that 2 of the 3 are not on the fall schedule, CBS has lost a viewer...not that they care, after all at age 52,I'm not the demographic they're looking for!!!

Ths Class is one of the very few sitcoms that could have become an icon. Sure, it started slow, but with all of the characters that had to develop in front of the viewers, that was expected. I rarely watch anything "network" usually droning over my work at home in front of cable and/or sports, but this was one that I stopped everything on Mondays to watch, and even got my co-workers to join me and they in turn had family and friends that they "tuned in". Jericho (Ugh) got a second chance because of the fans but this show didn't even get a second look although I have found more support for it than Jericho everywhere I look on the Internet. WAKE UP CBS my 35-50 age group has the buying power your sponsors look for yet you continue to shoot yourself in the foot with other endeavors (The New Adventures of Old Christine) that will eventually fizzle and fade with no hope of re-runs. Put season one out on DVD at the same time with Julia, Jericho, and others, give them the same amount of adverting, then see what the sales tell you. It might just surprise even you.
