We at the DeathWatch decided it was time to watch the first three episodes of “The Class.” So we did. Back-to-back. With pizza.
Our review: It is a far cry from “really good” or “must see” television, but it is watchable if you’re not in the mood for anything too “thinky.” “The Class” is an ensemble comedy with a large mythology and intricate story line, two things that often require a lot of work. Despite the fact that the writers are interested only in the laughs, we actually decided that it might survive a while.
And then …
By this morning, “The Class” had dropped to number three on the DeathWatch. As the day went on, it found its way to number two. The odds of cancellation now rest at 7:1, and at the rate it’s dropping, it will likely overtake “Men in Trees” by morning as the number one soon-to-be-cancelled show.

I think 'The Class' is an extremely funny show; and there are not many comedies on anymore. There are to many dramas on.

The Class is my favorite new show! Give it some time & it will be a huge success. Lots of characters & sub plots, but well worth the effort to watch.

I really like this show!!! I really hope that they keep it on the air. But it seems that all the shows that I enjoy get bagged, so I won't get too attached.

Personally, I really like both "The Class" and "Studio 60." I think both shows are funny and definately watchable. I think if people just give them both more time, they will see how good they can become. "Heroes" on the other hand, is fabulous and I try to never miss it.

I really love The Class--it's amazing how touched I am by all the characters so early into a show. I think the writing is great, the acting is great and I am really rooting for each of these characters. And I agree that we need a good comedy on air--don't let this one get cancelled.

I would be totally pissed if they axe the Class...
It's my favorite new Comedy!
The Class won "Best New Comedy Series" at the People's Choice Awards.
If they take the show off the air they would no doubt replace it with some trashy garbage...

The latest commercials on CBS are stating "The final two episodes". This does not sound like something that would be said for a show that would be back next year. They are not stating, the final two episodes of the season, but "The final two episodes."

I love both Studio 60 and The Class. The Class is my must-see Monday night TV show! I look forward to it week after week. It brings consistent laughter to my life. Cancelling this show too early would be a mistake.

I absolutely love the Class! It is laugh out loud funny. One of the best shows on television and without a doubt the best comedy I've seen on TV in YEARS! Eonline is doing a poll under Watch with Kristin to Save One Show --- while I'll miss some of the other shows -- I voted to save the Class!!

I'm sick that Class may be cancelled. I can't find it anywhere. I suffered through How I Met Your Mother just to watch Class, now the TV is off on Monday nights!
