I may be the only one, but I think not, that is soooo tired of Law and Order. I HATE Law and Order and to see more re-runw on the schedule is NUTS.

It's unfortunate. The series just never found its audience -- and of course, the move to Saturday nights wasn't going to help. The networks have put a lot of money into serial dramas this year but don't give them any time to catch on. Audiences are wary of getting involved with shows only to see them yanked. With quick cancellations like Kidnapped and Smith, the networks are proving them right.

Just what I want to do: curl up with a nice mug of tea, next to my wife...in office chairs sitting behind a computer screen to finish out the series!
Would it have killed NBC to burn off the episodes on Bravo or USA?

Figures. I personally thought this was one of the best new shows this year and they had me hooked. I liked the cast and thought they all worked well together. I really do not feel a rerun of Law will win that much more of a Saturday time slot. Fantastic.... I guess I can hunker down to my tivo'd sesame street.. I know elmo won't leave... for the love of gawd!!

WTF? At least they had something new on the wasteland that is Saturday tv!
Just what I needed - to huddle infront of my computer and try to watch the show. Wonder why I bother with a plasma tv and HD cable. Now I'm just wait for NBC to cancel my other fave - Studio 60 - and put yet another Law & Order re-run.

In my opinion, NBC just ruined their credibility. They said they were ending it after 13 episodes and told the producers to wrap up the story. Okay that sounds good, let the show finish. Then they move it to Saturday, okay they're still going to let it finish. Now they pull it completely. Did they really think it would have more viewers on Saturday? NBC has lied too many times. I'll have to think long and hard before watching a new series on NBC. It's not going to be watched on the web. NBC is a bunch of liars, and it's not just the fans of Kidnapped that are going to be leary of their promises, it's everyone.

All the major network shows I liked this season are now officially dead or on life-support. Much as I like the "L&O" franchise I certainly won't be watching any time-slot-filling reruns. In fact, after NBC proved themselves to be lying liars by axing "Kidnapped", I may just feel oblicated to boycott all their shows for the rest of the season. grrrrhhhh! Thank God for the Sci-Fi channel and "Battlestar Galactica"!

This show was the most overlooked show on the Fall Schedule. It, by far, outshines 90% of the new series on all the networks. NBC failed to promote this show to the right audience. I stumbled upon it accidentally and was hooked the first night i saw it! I made it a point to set a series recording on my DVR because i had no idea what the schedule would be after it was put in hiatus, and i tend to DVR alot of new shows to watch them in my spare time/lunch hour. It had the best cast and while the storyline may have been simple, the writers and director did a great job of making the story much deeper than the premise would lead on. This is the 3rd year in a row that my fave new show gets axed without allowing time for it to develop an audience. Last year CBS did the same thing to me with cancelling "Threshold" just as i began to get deeply involved with the show. For that reason, i decided not to watch any new CBS shows this season. Looks like that's what i'll be doing to both networks now. I suppose NBC will just become a stale network with lame gameshows while burning us out with Law & Order. Atleast they still have My Name is Earl and The Office.
