
After only five episodes, ABC has pulled the struggling Taye Diggs drama “DayBreak” from the air.
The problem with the show seems to be summed up in the fact that just about everyone saw Groundhog Day in 1993, and this was the same idea -- one man must live the same day over and over again until he gets it right.
As a drama, the conceit might have worked, but viewers stopped watching after the first episode. The show premiered in November to a 2.6 rating, and fell consistently to its final 1.4 rating in the 18-49yo demographic.
