I think its smart that LOST is moving up to 10pm for 2 reasons: 1. I always thought it should be airing at that time to begin with and 2. They'd be foolish to try and go head-to-head with the always annoying American Idol. I have watched the first 3 episodes of Day Break and so far it is alot better than it looks. I really hope ABC keeps this show around because its already showing great promise, it could be their network's own "24". As for The Nine & Six Degrees, I think both shows are great(people who aren't watching them either have no taste or no patience for great original progamming)and need to be brought back as soon as possible. I admit that The Nine was very slow but it really started to take off in the last 2 episodes before ABC put it on hiatus, while Six Degrees is one of 2 of the most underrated shows on the network(Men in Trees being the other one). I hope ABC shows restraint and lets these shows get their chance to grow into underdog hits before the viewers eyes.

It'd be stupid to cancel a 13-episode replacement show. Why even bother? Just let it run in the Lost hiatus slot and be done with it...replacing a replacement isn't going to get ABC better ratings when they've been shilling Day Break for weeks.

I agree with MP. Day Break was meant to be the half-time show for Lost, and to replace it now is just stupid. Besides, it's a very good show. I was drawn in and I can't wait to see how it ends. If they do yank it, I hope they do what Kidnapped and Vanished are doing, which is to make the final episodes available on the Internet.

Day Break is a good show. Basically it's there to stall for the return of LOST. It's not something you have to think about that hard because it's only 13 episodes, and the answer is coming soon. Really, what would ABC fill the time slot with until then? Just let it play out. At the very least give us the conclusion.

I enjoy Daybreak, and appreciate the mini-series format. It's how they do things in Britain, and the British have given us some truly great shows. Most British series are only produced for one season at a time, so you're guaranteed a production that's trying as hard as it can to interest its viewers. You're also guaranteed a pay-off in just a few episodes. I think a 24-episode format, as most American series run, is too long. The creative teams are forced to drag things out, and the overall quality suffers. There are a few shows that keep the tension up all year, as Lost managed in season one, and Prison Break and 24 somehow manage, but most series are forced to make two-parters, introduce extra characters, and create annoying subplots just to keep things going.

I like "The Nine", it has become one of my favorite shows. And ABC needs to do some more sdvertising of Day Break because taye diggs is like the new Jack Baugher/chuck norris. It needs a better timeslot.
As a college student i have no time for tv but these two shows are the ones I acutually watch.
Plays Taye Diggs was in Rent, so if ABC did some advertising projected towards college students, I think he really would be the new Jack Baugher.

At the beginning of the season, I thought Six degrees was going to be a better quality show than the Nine. Turns out that each week, Six degrees started to fade and get boring, while The Nine seemed to be getting better every week. As far as Day Break, just couldn't get into it.

I hope that Daybreak does not get cancelled. It's one of the few shows that asks questions & are actually answering the questions. As for the Nine or Six Degrees I don't care idf they come back neither caught my attention. It seems like the networks are all trying to copy shows that already work.I mean if I like to watch 24 I'm not looking for anything else like 24.I like shows that smart & treat me as a viewer with the respect of knowing I am smart enough to figure somethings out.

There are a ton of people who want Day Break to stick around. Sure, there are the folks who make the easy (and uninformed) statements like "I want this day to end" and "the premise is repetitive," but for many of us the show is quite gripping. And since Brett Hopper is continually finding new clues each show, the show is really more of a linear plotline that it seems when describing the show. Us Day Breakers should organize! I've written an open letter to ABC requesting them to keep Day Break on the air. Feel free to visit and "sign" the petition: www.savedaybreak.blogspot.com
Things are looking pretty bleak for Day Break…take action now!

This show is so good. This week's episode (12/13/06) was the best ever. Everytime I think I have this solved, it takes another turn and pulls me in even deeper. For the people that don't like it DON'T WATCH IT! I've given alot of shows a chance this season. I've tried Six Degrees, very disappointing, The Nine had it's moments but the best episode was the last one that aired. You can't give us drama in the first episode and hope people stay tuned for the unraveling of everyone's lives. There was nothing in between that made you want to stick around. I just stuck around because there was nothing else to watch and I was trying to be fair and give it a chance. And Six Degrees & The Nine sort of had the same premise. You can't have two of the same shows on the same network. Okay, so one's based in a bank and the other is about random people that meet every day and their lives. Sorry, didn't work for me.

I enjoy Day Break, in fact, I find it to be one of the more interesting shows of the season. I'm not certain why ABC didn't premier this show earlier. The plot line is engaging, mysterious, and an ingenious much like Lost was. I hope it continues.
The NINE is another show which I think should make it. I find it much more interesting than Ugly Betty, or Grey's anatomy. The story line is interesting, the interplay between the Nine, and the robbers is also engaging.
Six Degrees may be too good for network TV. The cast is outstanding, the interweaving of the different lives, experiences, history, dreams and goals are something we rarely see outside of HBO or Showtime. There were a couple of HBO and Showtime series like Leap Years and Out of Order which offered the this quality of character driven shows. Sadly we in America don't seem to have the interest in or patience anymore for these types of shows as demonstrated by the demise of Showtime's HUFF.
We'll kept getting formulaic comedies, or "reality shows" or shudder, more shows like Who wants to be a Millionaire or Deal or no Deal, if we don't support the shows listed above, and that's sad. How many Law & Order or CSI shows can we take?
I for one will continue to support shows like these but for the most part, continue to turn to BBC America. Their "seasons" are short, 6 to 8 episodes, so if a show doesn't have strong ratings, at least you get a season finale. Here, you get invested in a show and a few episodes into it, it's gone. You are left hanging.
This could account for the lack of viewer ship for these types of shows. After being burned so many seasons before, why take a risk?

I agree, this is crap. If they are going to make a limited season, why not show all of the episodes? How are they going to do worse than rerunning old episodes of "George Lopez", no offense to that show. Not to mention that just a few short weeks ago, the ABC website had this as their focus, stay tuned for an 11 week ride etc, only to pull it? I hope after the holidays they bring it back, or like others said maybe air it on DVD or I gues make it available to download. Really it was the most intriguing drama to come along in a while.

First the pull Daybreak ... then Cancel it ... Then they tell us we can watch it online ... Now they have deleted any mention of the show off the website. Do they just not want anyone to ever watch the network again. There was a way to handle this and this is by far the dumbest and most arrogant way to do it. There is no loyality anymore so why even support anything this network does !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Im not sure what they are doing in abc but i think its time for a new management team the viewers and i think they need to take a poll of all the shows and let the viewers tell you what shows should been aired. These guys here seem to be retarted me and my mom and my friend have been hooked on daybreak it's like a newer version of lost and i was really lookin forward to figure out if he was the only one experiencing the whole De Javu thing or not because he seems to not be the only one. Also why isn't Six Degrees or The Nine came back on George Lopez and Jim are great but, these shows are too and I think they have just hit plain dumbness. Show me the money more like show me stupid and paid actors lol what are they thinking Sorry Shat but talk about a stupid career choice and i thought wow another who wants to be a millionaire boy was I wrong and why dont they just put The Nine and Six Degrees on tuesday then Boston Legal, also cancel those stupid new comedies Big Day and that other one talk about stupid I forgot the name help me help you or whatever. Put Daybreak before Lost and I'm tellin ya there will be ratings and hype. Also bring back Invasion what are you thinking why did you cancel it. Your worst night I'd have to say is Friday. Bring back Invasion and put it at the 10, 9 c time and bring what about brian to the 9, 8 c time slot and just put somthing else on in front or just leave AFV because noone complains about Extreme Makeover: Home Edition in front of two hit dramas so I doubt there will be any confusion and there is the empty slot for 10, 9 c on monday that way you can keep Stupid Show Me The Money or just move Super Nanny to that spot move Wife Swap to the Super Nanny spot and put two comedies in front of that like Help me Help you and then Big Day. There that is what I think should be done take some advice if you listen you might learn ABC ok. Besides if you just start to have like an at home playable game show witch im sure would make money by all you do is just call in or go online and anwser questions you could just give away tivos and then you wouldnt have to worry about no American Idol competion against Daybreak or Lost. So there this is my opinion.
