This week, E! aired "True Hollywood Story: Sex and the City." The soon-to-be-repeated-all-summer episode chronicled the stars and their filmographies, accolades and inter-office drama.
The lurking question for every woman, man and child with an "I'm a Carrie" T-shirt: Why didn't the SATC movie ever happen?
The majority of the show documents how well the four ladies got along -- but by the end of the two-hour THS it finally quenches your curiosity. Kim Cattrall, aka Samantha Jones, wanted to see the money.
Cattrall demanded she (and the other "supporting" ladies) get a SJ Parker-sized check for the big screen deal. All hell broke loose. E! reported that now at parties (after the deal imploded) the three graces can be found "drinking each other's champagne" and chatting all night. But poor Cattrall is usually placed at another table, often seen leaving early. So sad. Come on ladies, we need you all to get along -- even if you never do anything together again! --Chris Parker
