Amanda Peet, the benevolent dictator of "Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip" is knocked up. In other words, Peet and fiancé David Benioff are expecting their first child. With all the sexual tension between Peet's character and male characters on her new show, it's easy to imagine writing this pregnancy into the script, although no formal announcement had indicated that's the plan.

Sandra Cole: "I am a fan of the tv show Jericho. I missed the last episode and I cannot get the information..."
Patrick: "What about Newsradio?! WNYX!"
Nancy: "I miss the show so much! I love it! When I missed some of the first season's episodes, I tried..."
Gina T: "Friday Night Lights is my FAVORITE show to watch.....I have missed it so much! I have my DVR to automatically..."
Payton: "I absolutely love this show. The writting is fenomenal and the acting is perfect. I think this show is brillian..."
Paula Smith: "I'm hoping (as is my husband) that Friday Night Lights has not disappeared! Tell us it isn't gone!"

Studio 60 is THE BEST new show this season. Hands down, writing is out of this world and the cast, well who isn't on it? Something for everyone.

Hopefully the smartest show on tv will not write the pregnacy into the script just because Amanda's pregnant. I'd love to see a subtly obvious running sight gag used to 'mask' the actor's pregnacy. Aaron S. could certainly meet that challenge in a number of interesting ways. Or perhaps we, the viewers, could meet the challenge of just ignoring the actor's pregnancy. The last thing I want to see is the direction of the show 'hijacked' by dealing with Jordon becoming pregnant, watching her have morning sickness during important meetings or having her water break 'on camera in Studio 60'. The chemistry between these charactures is exciting, and dynamic.
If we have to have a pregnancy on the show, perhaps Jeannie with the light brown hair was knocked up by Matt that weekend he was on pain meds= but for some unexplained reason, Jeannie doesn't seem to be growing larger, but Jordon is! (Please understand this last paragraph is a lame attempt at humor, I'm not an unemployeed writer trying to impress anyone. I just have a weird sense of humor!)
