We understand that the majority of American viewers still seem to be swallowing the tripe that is reality TV, and here comes further proof that you should convince your Neilsen-family friends to start watching more scripted televison.
NBC has announced plans to shuffle its schedule to create an “All-Non-Scripted” Sunday night line up, by moving “Crossing Jordan” to Wednesday nights, and replacing it with “Deal or No Deal.”
NBC is hoping that the move will revive ratings for “The Apprentice” by moving it out of a timeslot that competes with "Desperate Housewives" (ABC) and "Cold Case," (CBS). Last week, “The Apprentice” drew only 7.9 million viewers – the lowest number in years. The trick will be getting viewers to watch the Donald-Trump-led realityfest at 10pm instead of 9pm.
"Crossing Jordan," will move to Wednesday nights, where it will compete with “American Idol,” along with “Friday Night Lights” and “Medium” – for an all-drama Wednesday night lineup. NBC is our parent company.

I really hated the fact that I had to wait months for Jordan to come back to me and try to remember where L&O CI went. But now I have to absolutely have to quit watching NBC all together on Sundays. I couldn't wait for Sundays in previous years, no movies of the week. Just good dramas. Now there is crap.
I also don't think that Crossing Jordan is a show that should be seen at 9pm, but they almost had it on fridays at 8.
What is this world coming to?

When will the gezzers who decide things like this realize that it is no longer 1970 and most people know how to change the channel and set thier TIVO. It no longer matter's to what day or time you move a show. If I wasn't watching it before, I'm not going to start just because you moved it to a differnet spot. There are way too many other things to watch or time shift for the deciding factor to be based on when a show airs. You can't make a show any "Better" just by changeing it's time slot. If they actualy watched TV on a regular basis or talked to people who did, maybe then they would realize how stupid this idea sounds.
