And while I orginaly picked Showtime and HBO for the uncut movies, I grew to live OZ (anther lost show), the Sapranos which end in 2007, Sex and the City (and I am a guy who could relate to the women's problems in the show. It spoke to all people-especially singles.

But the fatc is that none of these shows woudl be nuber one one a major network but are cult favorites should tell HBO and Showtime to quite cancelling good shows.

I don't beleive letter writing and calling are effective. The last time this was done on a big scale was the cancelation of the series Angel (which I loved and was doing better in the ratings than ever and people were told in October that it would have a season 6. Instead around April of the following year, it was canelled.

And the carrot is there is going to be a MOVIE made.

The only syndicated series that actually made a movie waqs Highland and the movie was End Game-though another Highlander movie called the source has finsihed production but is being held up as far as distribution via Lion's Gate who usually picks winners to distribute.

I feel that HBO should either go back to showing only movies and no more orginal shows (I guess Weeds will be next), or give the shows a long run and quit the 13 episode time lenght. Televise the show for an entire season. SShowtime used to do that with the Outerlimits, Starg gate SG!, and some ealier shows.

So quit getting use hooked and caring about orginal characters and show Harry Potter movies or listen to the subscribers who pay the bills.

I would never invest my time in reading a book that was missing chapters or incomplete in any way. If there were problems with the show, than you should have fixed them! Why wasn't the creative director being creative?
If he was worth his salt, the talent that you trusted and invested in would have made him look good.
So, as for me and mine, we have canceled ShowTime.
I tried to watch Sleeper Cell over a friends house and it was just that "a Sleeper". Sorry, I really fell asleep. Someone is giving you very bad advice. Listen to your audience.
