After an assignment led journalist Tim Madigan to Mister Rogers, the friendship that ensued with the beloved children's TV icon greatly influenced Madigan's life.
Or so he says in his new book, ''I'm Proud of You: My Friendship With Fred Rogers.” In the new tome, Madigan recounts a bond the two men developed that helped him deal with a crisis in his marriage, his battle with depression and his brother's diagnosis of incurable lung cancer.
Sounds like “Tuesdays With Morrie.”
Their friendship began with a phone interview for an article about violence on television and continued until Rogers' death of stomach cancer in February 2003.
Last summer, Madigan decided it was time to write about what Rogers had meant to him.

I'm not suprised Happy Hour got the axe, but I thought kidnapped was doing okay. The previews of Smith made it seem like it was going to be a interesting show, but of course it turned out not to be.

ABC "Brothers and Sisters" is is nothing but an anti-military, anti-conservative, anti-Republican clap-trap which panders to the Hate-America-Blame-America-First Left. The show never misses a chance to make the politically conservative Calista Flockhart character look like an idiot. This is Glimore Girls at a much higher scale. Which means it will last for another four years, which is unfortunate. I wish E-Ring would come back. I am not wathcing "Brothers and Sisters" anymore.

Anyone catch the brilliant but cancelled "HEIST". It was brilliant acting, great scripting and the most interesting thing on TV in years. The cast was wonderful.
They should bring it back with all the other garbage they have removed from the tv. It was absolute quality.
