Back to School: Top Ten High Schools

Most people leave high school and never look back. But if you grew up with the wise words of Mr. Feeney or the tough love of Mr. Belding, it's hard to ever look elsewhere. Whether it was the amazingly lovable principals or the incredibly good looking students, these are the top ten high schools that made students want to transfer there and stay forever.

10. James Buchanan High- Welcome Back, Kotter

The infamous sweathogs of the Brooklyn high school had no potential until the arrival of their former trouble-making teacher Mr. Kotter.

He embraces the unteachables and proves to everyone else that these kids may be in remedial classes, but they have more to teach the audience than anyone else at the school. From forging excuse notes to propelling John Travolta to film fame, the antics of Mr. Kotter's class never seemed to end.
